Rohloff FAT Bone Post-Mount Adapter

The FAT Bone allows mounting of a Rohloff Speedhub Fatbike XXL on Fatbike frames (190/197mm) with a direct post mount brake mount (for 180mm or 203mm discs). In order to derive the hogging moment of the hub over the FAT Bone into the frame, an additional special Fatbike axle plate must be used.

The FAT Bone is mounted between the frame and brake caliper and thus acts like a + 20mm adapter, which requires the use of each 20mm larger disc.

Examples of possible combinations:

• Frames with PM direct for 160mm = Fatbone 180 (Art.Nr. 8556) + 4-hole Rohloff 180mm brake disc.
• Frames with PM direct for 180mm disc = Fatbone 203 (Art.Nr. 8557) + 4-hole Rohloff 203mm brake disc.
